Ellis C. McGee is the Owner, Manager, Licensed Mortician, Notary Public, and is a Biologist and an Educator. McGee has taught high school= Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology and Physical Science, Community College level= Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology, University level= Biology, Biology Lab, Genetics Lab. & Zoology Lab. He is a graduate of Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA (MS Degree in Biology), North Carolina Wesleyan College, Rocky Mount, NC (BA Degree in Biology), Halifax Community College, Weldon, NC (AA Degree Pre-Liberal Arts) & (AA Degree in Pre-Teaching Secondary), other graduate studies: East Carolina University, N.C. State University (AP Biology Teachers Certification), Virginia Common-Wealth University and Texas A & M University. He is a 1981 graduate of Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service, Atlanta, GA. While being in Atlanta, he completed his clinicals at Seller Brothers Funeral Home.
He is a member of Beta Beta Beta the National Biological Honor Society, Beta Kappa Chi the National Scientific Honor Society, a member of the Zeta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity.
Mr. McGee is the longest attending and pioneer member of the Evangelistic Church of Deliverance under the leadership of the late Bishop William H. Cheek, Sr. and the late Mother Lucille Parker-Cheek.
