It was the 6 day of January 1944, when Walter Daniel, the love of my life and the father of my son came into this world. Walter was born to the union of his mother and father Mary Virginia Lindsey and James Daniel who proceeded him in death.
Walt, as he was affectionately known, quietly responded to God's called on Monday, September 9, 2019, at his home.
Walter professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined Rocky Branch Baptist Church in Red Oak, Virginia. He attended the public schools of Charlotte County, Virginia. His pursuit of life beyond Virginia carried him to Newark, New Jersey where he was employed with BASF Chemicals for many years.
Walter's love and compassion for people led him into a career as a bartender, a career in which he loved. Walter loved his life as a bartender as he developed everlasting friendships with people from all around the state. Walter's debonair personality and his way with people caught the eye of a country girl from a little town named Garysburg in North Carolina. This friendship blossomed into wedded bliss. To this union Walter, Jr. was born. Walter, Jr. (Roc, as he was affectionately known) proceeded his father in death.
In addition to His Son and Parents; His Brothers: Joe, Abraham, and Alfred Lee Daniel preceded Him in death. He was also preceded in death by His Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law: Emma and Joseph Ransom; a Step-Grandson: Tre'Vis Rashad Hawkins.
