The Life of Virginia B. Lloyd Raysor, 75
A private viewing will be held Friday, February 19, 2021, 2:30 PM at the funeral parlor. A public viewing will be from 3 to 6 PM. Only four people will be allowed to enter at a time. A facial covering will be required to enter due to COVID-19.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 12:00 High Noon, Coleman-McGee Funeral Home Front Lawn, Bishop Curtis Ransom will deliver the eulogy.
Burial will follow in the Bennett Family Cemetery, Garysburg, NC.
Virginia B. Lloyd Raysor was born August 24, 1945 in Gumberry, NC to the late Rosa Lee Bennett and the late Eugene Taylor. Life came to an end on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC. She was raised by her grand parents the late John and Missionary Virginia Bennett in a very loving, caring and religious home environment.
Virginia joined New Jerusalem Holiness Church at an early age and remained a member for years. She graduated from Gumberry High School May 1964.
Virginia later joined Good Shepherd Ministeries under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Hayes Gainey, Jr., Senior Pastor in Orangeburg, SC. She had a great love for the Lord, her church, her Pastor and didn't want anything to stop her when it was time to attend the house of the Lord. She was a dedicated and faithful member, and was always on time. She was no stranger to anyone. When she met someone, she treated them as if she had known them for years.
She was married to the late Charles E. Bellamy and to this union a son was born: Spencer.
Preceding Her in death are: Her Husband: Charles E. Bellamy; Her Mother: Rosa Lee Nixon, Her Father: Eugene Taylor, Her Brother: Robert Rivers, Her Grandparents: John and Missionary Virginia Bennett.
Virginia leaves to cherish her fond memories; Her Son: Spencer Bellamy and wife Wendy, Grandsons: Spencer Bryce Bellamy and Patrick Patton both of Shaker Heights, Ohio; a Great Grandson: Aiden Patton of Ravenna, Ohio; Her Sisters: Margaret Charles and husband Norman of Miami, FL, Delores Wyche, Barbara McCain and husband Jeannot of Palm Beach, FL, and Rosetta Rivers of Aiken, SC; Aunts: Betty Bennett of Garysburg, NC, Charles Anna Bennett of Atlanta, GA, Sarah B. Grant of Portsmouth, VA; a very special friend Rosa Claiboine of Garysburg, NC, along with a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and church family and friends.
