The call was made on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 for Miss Tracy Michelle Jones, 44 of Corapeake, NC to come and receive her just reward at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.
Tracy was born on July 3, 1973 MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia to the late Melvin Jones, Sr. of Conway, NC and Patricia M. Jones of Wilson, NC.
Tracy was a homemaker, a great daughter, sister and niece. She made friends with just about everybody and had a bubbly personality. Her family was the love of her life.
Tracy attended Woodland Olney School, Woodland, NC, Conway Middle School, Conway, NC and NCHS-E, Creeksville, NC. Everybody that knew Tracy loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father: Melvin Jones, Sr., her aunt: Bobbie, both sets of grandparents: Eddie Jones, Sr. and Minnie Jones, Harlen Mizelle and Marie Harden; three uncles: Eddie Jones, Jr., Jimmy Jones, Sr and Kirk Jones; three cousins: Jimmy Jones, Jr., Steven Jones, and Donald Byrum; two nephews: Christopher Martin, and Jonathan Broghn; one niece: Jessica Hewitt , and two great nieces: Gracie Hewitt and Allyssa Campbell.
Those left to cherish Tracy's memories are: Her Mother: Patriccia Jones, Wilson, NC; Three Children: Amy Jones, Heather Carter, and Jonathan Carter all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Four Brothers: Melvin Jones and wife Patricia, Ahoskie, NC, Wayne Jones and wife Patricia, Plymouth, NC, Wesley White, Newport News, VA and Tommy Jones of Raleigh, NC; Four Sisters: Pamela Jones and fiance Dusty, Windsor, NC, Peggy Smith and husband
Richard, Portsmouth, VA, Karen Stanley, Rocky Mount., NC and Cindy Stanfield and husband Paul of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one very close cousin: Alisa Bland of Woodland, NC; three nephews: David Jason Jones, Rusty Jones and Cameron Jones; several nieces; one great nephew: Peyton Campbell; One great niece: Jeslyn Hewitt and a host of aunts, uncles,cousins and friends.
Tracy had the biggest heart of anyone. She always wore a smile and had a bubbly personality. She would sit back and have a good ole time. She would talk to her sister by heart but cousin by blood, "Lisa" on the phone for hours.
When she was young, her sister Pamela, Lisa and herself were called the Three Musketeers because they were together all the time. She had great love for her three kids. Joking with Brian was a great joy to her.
Tracy will be missed dearly by everyone that knew and loved her.
