The Life of Thomas T. "Tom-Cat" Davis, 38
This is to certify that THOMAS TYRONE 'TOM-CAT' DAVIS, was the son of Linda Davis and Rufus Boone. He ws born July 9, 1973 in Halifax County, NC and departed his life on Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Thomas received his education from Halifax County Schools and at an early age and joined Gaston Baptist Church, Gaston, NC.
He was employed as a production worker for Boar's Head, Jarratt, VA until 2002.
He leaves, not to mourn, but to cherish his fondest memories: his loving-children: Tanisha Davis, Taja Davis, Taveon Jefferson all of Roanoke Rapids, NC and A'layla Falcon, Littleton, NC; his grandson: Zamaree Davis; his mother: Linda Davis-Price and his stepfather Edward L. Price of the home; his father: Rufus Boone and companion Cora Lee Butcher of Gaston, NC; A sister: Melinda Davis of the home; one niece: A'lexus Davis and one nephew: Q'zeabein Rhea; Three Aunts: Juanita Avent and companion John Jones of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Virginia Moss of South Carolina and Mary Avent of New York; Four Uncles: Jerry Vincent and wife Magnolia, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Tommy Davis, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Charles Avent of High Point, NC and Randolph Vincent and wife Diane, Gaston, NC; His best friend: Donna Daily, Roanoke Rapids, NC, and a host of cousins, relatives, other In-Laws, and friends.

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Thomas Tyrone Davis, 38 of 546 Deer Run Dr.(off of Airport Road), Roanoke Rapids, NC will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 O'clock in the afternoon at Gaston Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy 46, Gaston, NC. Rev.,Dr. Tony Flood, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A private family viewing will began at 12:30 pm Friday, September 9, 2011 with a public viewing at the funeral home on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 1 to 7 pm.
At the request of the family, no pictures are to be taken at the funeral home nor the church, with a camera or a cell phone.
