The Life of Mr. Thomas A. Tillery,84.
Mr. Tillery was born January 17, 1926 in Halifax County, NC to the late John & Martha Jane Edmonds Tillery.
He worked as a laborer for the J.P. Stevens Towel Mill, Roanoke Rapids, NC for many years until retirement.
He was married to the late Mother Annie Tillery.
He leaves to cherish his long and loving memories two sisters: Lougenia T. Jones of Roanoke Rapids but now lives in Rocky Mount, NC and Angie T. Squire of Gaston, NC and a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives, cousins and friends.
Memorial Services for Mr. Thomas A. Tillery,84 of 1901 Thelma Rd., Roanoke Rapids, NC who died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, NC, will be held: Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Lynn Bradley will officiate at Shearin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
