The Life of Tanya Williams-Lane, 38
Our loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and loving person has gone on before us, The Lord has answered her prayer, Rejoicing in heaven with angels above, Dear Father we hope to meet you there.
On the evening of September 5th 2010 God called Tanya home to his place of eternal rest.
Tanya was born July 8th, 1972 in Bronx, NY to the late Carrie Williams and Brister Williams, where she later moved to North Carolina in 1984. She obtained her education from the Northampton County School System and later graduated from Northampton County High School-West Class of 1991. Tanya accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the Boone's Chapel Baptist Church in Jackson, N.C.
Tanya leaves to mourn in her passing, but to reflect upon her fondest memories: Her loving and devoted husband, Patrick Lane of the home, Two sons Leondre Lane and Tigris Lane also of the home. Her father Brister and step-mother Verdell Williams, Moncks Corner, S.C., One sister: Caroyln Williams,Garysburg, N.C., One brother: Brister Williams Jr. Moncks Corner, S.C, Three aunts: Viola Williams, Bronx, N.Y., Dorothy Smalls,Charleston, S.C., Ruth Williams, Bronx, N.Y., Six uncles: Willie and wife Patricia Williams,Charlottesville, V.A., Rentie and wife Eunice Williams, Moncks Corner, S.C, Soloman Williams,Toledo, Ohio, Sylvester and wife Mary Williams,Bronx, N.Y., Collin Williams of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Arthur and wife Teresa Williams of Garysburg, N.C., Her Mother In-Law: Doris Benjamin,Weldon, N.C., Her Father In-Law Joseph and wife Ossie Ruffin, Weldon, N.C., Two Sister In-Laws: Shimeka Lane, Weldon, N.C., And Latasha Ruffin,Charlotte, N.C.,Two neices: Akia Thomas,Norcross, G.A., And Shanay Thomas,Portsmouth, V.A., Four nephews: Vernon Williams,Noblesville,Indiana, Devin Williams, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Quantez Ancrum, Moncks Corner, S.C. And Calub Williams, Manhattan, N.Y. She also leaves to mourn a host of cousins and friends.
Northampton County High School-West Class of 1991 will serve as the Floral Attendants and Pall Bearers.
The family are receiving family, relatives and friends at the home of Mrs. Shirley Long, Hwy 46, Garysburg, NC.
Funeral will be held 1:00 pm, Sat., September 11, 2010 at Boone Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Jackson, NC. Rev., Dr. Carrol Dickens, Pastor Officiating. Burial will follow in the Roanoke Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson, NC.
A viewing will be held Friday, Sept., 10 from 1 to 7 pm at Coleman Funeral Home, 776 Hwy 301 N., Garysburg, NC.
