The Life of Mr. Stewart Moore, 79

Mr. Stewart Martin Moore, 79, son of the late John Henry and Louise Moody-Moore was born on March 10, 1935 in Northampton County, North Carolina and suddenly departed his early life on Sunday morning, August 17, 2014 at Signature Healthcare Services of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

He received his education through the public schools of Northampton County, North Carolina. At an early age, he joined Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

Stewart worked as a laborer in the construction industry.

Stewart or "Hair" as he was affectionately called was well-known to everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Stewart was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Moody and William Moore.

Those left to cherish his memories are his only daughter: Evelyn Banks of Gaston, NC, one granddaughter: Linda Banks of Garysburg, NC, one
great-granddaughter: LaTeisha Simmons, one great-grandson: JaQuan Simmons, both of Garysburg, NC. Survivors also included one sister-in-law: Gracie Moore of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Stewart Moore, 79, of 555 Macon Price Road, Garysburg, NC who expired Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Signature Health Care, Roanoke Rapids, NC; will be held 1:00 In The Afternoon, Monday, August 25, 2014 at Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy 46, Gaston, NC. Bishop W. I. Welch, Pastor will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The will be a private immediate family viewing Sunday, August 24th at 12:30 PM at the funeral parlor, followed by a public viewing from 1 to 6 PM.

The funeral cortege will depart from Mr. Moore's residence Monday at 12:15 PM headed to the church.
