Her remains will repose in church one hour prior to the service.

The beautiful and inspiring life of Shawn Marie McKinnie, 56, came to a peaceful close on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the serenity of her home in Goldsboro, NC.
Shawn was the daughter of the late Leamon Mckinnie and Gerallene McKinnie-Baker born on February 22, 1962.
She received her education from Wayne County Public Schools and graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School. She furthered her education at Johnston C. Smith University, Charlotte, NC.
She was employed as a phlebotomist for the Veteran Administration, Durham, NC.
Treasured memories will remain with her Mother: Ms. Gerallene McKinnie-Baker; A Sister: Iris Mckinnie-Reaves and one Brother: Robby L. Mckinnie all of Goldsboro, NC; Survivors also include: Three Nephews: Robby L. McKinnie, Jr., Romel C. Reaves and Roland M. Reaves; Three Nieces: Tasha Brewington, Ebony McKinnie and Tessa Jones; Two Aunts: Annie Chavis-Best and Pearlene Fitch and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
