Funeral Services will be Monday, December 28, 2020, 12:00 High Noon, Coleman-McGee Funeral Home Front Lawn.

A Military Burial will be Wednesday, December 30 2020, 12:00 High Noon, Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Rd., Goldsboro, NC 27534

Robert Ernest Lee, son of the late Timothy Lee and  Lousie Lee, was born December 20, 1945 in Northampton County, NC.

He received his education through the Northampton County Public School System.

Early in life he enlisted in the Marine Corps to serve his County. In 1966 he was given a Honorable Discharge.

Robert was employed for several years at Cracker Barrel. He was a very handy man who loved working on cars and other small jobs that needed work. Robert was also a security guard in Virginia.

In his spare time he was known as the King of the Dance floor! Even at his old age he could cut a rug and loved to sing and go fishing.

Robert peacefully departed this earthly life on December 20, 2020 at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital, Norfolk, Virginia.

Robert leaves treasured memories: His wife: Cathy Squire Fleming of the home; His Son of the home: Mario Squire and wife Takia , His Children: Vickie Fleming and husband, Alfred of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Larry Cotton of Baltimore, MD, Robert Ernest Lee Jr. and wife, Tiffany of District Heights MD, Angela Lee Easter and husband, Rodney of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Timothy Lee and wife, Heather of Strasboury, VA, Yolanda Lee of Scotland Neck, NC, April Lee-Hedgepeth and husband, Daniel of Weldon, NC, Jeffery Lee and wife, Tanika of Baltimore, MD, Patricia Mills of Manassas, VA; His Brothers:  Timothy and Theodore Evans; A Mother-In-Law: Gerline S. Tabron of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Sisters-In-Law: Sheila Watson and husband Mike of Weldon, NC, Vicky S. Hopson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Brothers-In-Law: Ricky Squire and wife, Tasheema of Greenwood, SC, John Squire and friend, Evelyn of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Marvin Beckett of New York City; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many many friends.

He also leaves behind siblings who he had not been able to meet. Julia Person of Philadelphia, Roberta Darius of Florida.

In addition to his step-son, Lacal Squire, he is now rejoined with his brothers whom he had never met James Minor of Richmond, Virginia; Herlin Lee of Northampton County, NC; sisters Dorothy Evans, Ester Samuel and Annette Samuel of Camden, New Jersey. A set of twins:  Theodore and Theodora  Lee who died days after their birth, and Wanda Lee may you all rest in peace and have a blessed reunion.
