The Life of Mr. Richard Ben Cotton, 78
Richard Ben Cotton, 78 son of the late Ester Cotton and Richard Dawson, was born March 1, 1938 in Greenville County, Virginia.
On Saturday night, July 23, 2016 the death angel was sent to Life Care Hospital, Rocky Mount, North Carolina to receive Mr. Richard Ben Cotton, 78 of East 4th Street, Weldon, NC to get his reward.
"Buddy", as he was affectionately called, was married to Queenia Blount, who preceded him in death.
He was a Lieutiant with the Fire Department in Farmville, NC, which he retired from.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories: One Son: Timothy Cotton of Farmville, NC; Three Grandchildren; Four Sisters: Annie Williams and husband Malachi of Garysburg, NC, Sallie Pierce of Weldon, NC, Queen Debro of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Nannie Branch and husband Ronnie of Garysburg, NC; One Aunt: Etterine Cotton of Roanoke Rapids, NC; A niece and nephew he cherished as a daughter and son to him: Jacqueline Kafaf and Dennis Cotton; Six Neices, Nine Nephews, a host of great neices and nephews, other relatives cousins and friends.
There will be a private immediate family viewing Friday, July 29th at 12:30 PM at the funeral parlor.
