Mother Bradley will lie in state Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Evangelistic Church of Deliverance-Sanctuary, Sycamore Street, Weldon, NC from 12:00 O'Clock High Noon until the funeral, which will be at 1:00 O'Clock PM.  Rev. Milton Jones=Eulogist; Rev. Willie M. Greene=Pulpit Conductor; Elder Clarence Harris=Pastor.

Burial will be in the Hunt Family Cemetery, Hunt Lane (off of Davis Memorial Road), Roanoke Rapids, NC.

There will be a private viewing at the funeral parlor for the spouse and children ONLY , Friday, October 7, 2022 at 4:00 PM.

There will not be a public viewing at the funeral parlor.

Pearline Drew Bradley, daughter of the late George Drew Valentine and Josephine Pierce, was born on November 19, 1946 in Halifax County, North Carolina.

Her formal education was obtained through the Halifax County public schools system.

On April 21, 1964 , she married the love of her life the Reverend Raymond Bradley. They were married 58 glorious years. In this union they were blessed with four amazing children.

At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Twilight Missionary Baptist church. Later on in years she joined the St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev Willie Mack Green.

Mother Bradley, as she was affectionately known, was a very loving, quiet and God-fearing woman. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She was loved by many and known for her "special hugs" that could put all the pieces back together. She was a faithful and strong woman who fought until the very end.

Pearline departed her life on October 9, 2022 in the comfort of her home.

Left to treasure her memories are Her devoted husband: Rev. Raymond Bradley of the home; Her children: Raymond Bradley, Jr of the home, Wilson Bradley Sr. and wife Gloria of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Karen Burgess  and husband Paul of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Betsey Bradley-Green and husband Monty of Garner, NC; Her grandchildren: Deon, Wilson Jr., TiErica, Essence, Javon, Davion, Paulette, Dominique, Paul, Jr., Lakeesa and Sherman; 8-great grandchildren; 3-great- great grandchildren; Her siblings: Florene Edwards and husband Thomas of Halifax, NC, Milton Pierce and wife Juliette of Enfield, NC, Stanley Valentine and wife Linda of Kinston, N, George Valentine and wife Linda of Greenville, NC; Tommy Valentine and Bobbie Valentine both of Greenville, NC; Her Sisters-In-law: Mary Craddock of Virginia Beach, VA; Coretha Bradley of Weldon, NC, Elaine Bradley and Pattie Ransome both of Garysbury, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives church family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pearline is now joined with Her sister, Nancy and other loved ones who have passed before Her. May they all rest in peace until we meet again.
