There will be a private viewing for Portia, VirginIa, Chester, Bertha, Roger, Connie and Cathy, 2:30 PM Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the funeral parlor=ONLY.
A public viewing will not be held.
Graveside Services: Friday, June 7, 2024, 12:00 O'Clock High Noon, Roanoke Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson, NC with Pastor Connie Webb delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery
The call was made on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 6:06 AM in Scotland Neck Manor, Scotland Neck, NC for MARY LEE WEBB HUNT, 88 to take her flight. Mary a residence of Northampton County, NC, was born March 20, 1936 to the late James Johnson and Celie Webb.
Mary was a loving and caring daughter, mother, sister, aunt,
and friends. She moved to Baltimore, Maryland at an early
age. In 2019 returning back to Garysburg, North Carolina to
reside with her sister Portia Webb Clements. Mary joined True
Gospel Lighthouse of Prayer in Roanoke Rapids, NC. She stayed
a faithful member until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by two children, Minny and
Edward Lee; her parents, three sisters, three brothers, and one
grandchild.
Those left to cherish her memories are: her daughter,
Mildred Robinson and husband, Wayne; four grandchildren,
James, DyKeria, Wayne, and Gregory all of Maryland; three
sisters, Portia W. Clements and Virginia Webb both of
Garysburg, North Carolina, and Bertha Webb of New York;
two brothers, Chester and wife, Connie of Garysburg, NC,
and Roger Webb of Philadelphia, PA; also left to her memories
a devoted niece, Cathy Webb; a special friend, Mary Smith of
Gaston, NC; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her True
Gospel Lighthouse of Prayer Church Family.
