A private viewing for immediate family will beheld Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 12:30 PM at the funeral parlor, followed by a public viewing from 1 to 6 PM.

Faithful Band Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, NC
12:00 O'Clock High Noon.
Rev. Melvin Ramsey will be the Eulogist.
Interment will follow in the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Garysburg, NC.
It was in Santara Albemarble Medical Center, Elizabeth City, NC that the call was made for MARY DOUGLAS PRICE, 62, to come from labor to rest on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. A native of Northampton County, NC.
Mary Copeland Douglas-Price, 62 was born on March 31, 1957 in Jackson, NC to the late Leroy Williams and Lucille Copeland-Douglas.
Mary attended Gumberry High School, Gumberry, NC and Halifax Community College, Weldon, NC. For most of her life she was a homemaker, who loved to cook, and help others. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and neighbors and was well known in both the Garysburg and Elizabeth City communities.
Later in life she married Donald Price and shared life together, until his passing,. Mary loved fashions and watching her stories, Lifetime and Hallmark channels, sports and two of her favorite atheletes were Michael Jordan and Steph Curry. She loved talking on the phone and making sure everyone was okay.
Mary leaves behind: Three children: Two Sons: Rickey Douglas and wife Ruby, Donnie Douglas and wife Sharonda and one Daughter: Marquita Douglas and fiance Alvin; a Son like her own: Corey Brooks.
Siblings that preceded her in death are: Howard Douglas, Joe Lewis Garris, Roy Lee Price, Willie Copeland and Anabelle Copeland.
Five Sisters: Louise Epps and husband Arthur Lee, Joyce Boone and husband Alvin, Emma Banks and husband Claybon, Mary Nois and Virginia Louise Price, Four Step-Sisters; Three Brothers: Ray Douglas and wife Maybell, Joe Lee Douglas and Robert Charles Douglas; Nine Grandchildren: De'Andrea, Ricky Lamar, Omari, Jalen, Malaysia, J'quan, Jahmari, My'Ashian,; Two Great Grandchildren: Malayah and Malonie; Three Sisters-In-Law: Rethella Barnes, Doris Edwards and Susan Hendricks; Two Best Friends: Lisa Mangrum and Barbara Harrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
