The Wonderful Life of Ms. Magnolia Mangrum Harris, 88
A life well lived, A joy devine, Mother Magnolia Mangrum Harris, 88 expired Monday, March 12, 2018 in Hampton Manor, Jackson, NC. Mother Harris born a twin to an older brother, (the late Yollie Mangrum) is a native of Northampton County, NC. Daughter of the late Sunny & Dora Mangrum.
There will be a private viewing for immediate family only on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 12:30 PM, followed by a public viewing from 1 to 6 PM.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 17, 2018, 1:00 PM, Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, Garysburg, NC.
Elder Loyd Royster will deliver the eulogy.
Burial will be in the Daily Memorial Gardens, 271 Oak Street, Gumberry, NC.
She attended the Northampton County Public School System.
Many years ago she married the late James Carr, years went by and met a new love and married the late John Harris.
She loved to attend church under the leadership of the late Bishop Dready Manning. Her favorite color was pink and she would love to fix-up for church. The love of her life was children, doing domestic house work all over the Eastern United States.
Survivors includes: The Mangrum families of North Carolina and Virginia, The late Bishop Dready Manning family-his wife, his children and all grands; Her god-daughter: Frances M. Blackwell her children and grands all of Waverly, VA and The Blackwell Family, Many In-laws and church friends.
You lived such a good life among us
Now it's time for you to rest...
We all loved you so dearly
But we know God loved you best...
We shall remember the love you shared
And hold sweet memories in our hearts...
For some sweet day we all will join you
And we'll never again have to part.
