The Life of "Tweety"

Lynn Ty'Juan "Tweety" Clanton, 30 of 202 Bush Street, Garysburg, NC departed Friday, July 4. 2014 in Northampton County, NC.

Lynn Ty'Juan was born November 6, 1983 to the late Lannie Clanton and his mother Gladys Ransom-Clanton. He was raised along with his sister, the late Tomeka L. Clanton and his brother Lann T'juan Clanton in Garysburg.

It was an honor of his to help keep his Mom's yard clean and cutting grass. He called that, "easy money." He thought a lot of Hylima and her children.

"Tweety" was a respectful and humble person. He was a wonderful young person always helping his family and others if he could.

What a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin he was. "Tweety" was 30-years old and as his Mom would say, "I have never seen him smoke or hear him curse. That's how much he respected me. He was not perfect, but he always respected me and this was instilled in him by his father and his big brother, whom he thought the world of."

He loved his two children and always talked about doing better for them and his Aunt Rae was a favorite of his. Lynn will be greatly missed.

He lives today and forever in the lives of his children: Jay'Lynn Clanton and I'Jaylah Clanton both of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his mother: Gladys Ransom-Clanton of the home; his brothers: LannT'juan Clanton and wife Kasharne of Garysburg, NC, Lannie Conell Harris and wife Mary of Baltimore, MD, and Angelo Latroy Williams of Atlanta, GA; his father: Lannie Clanton, a sister: Tomeka Lynnette Clanton and a niece: Tomeka M.
