The Life of Lois Jean Harrell,56
Lois Jean Harrel, 56, daughter of Rosa Dailey-Harrell and the late Cleven Harrell, Sr. began her life on November 9, 1957 and departed this life on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
She received her education through the Halifax and Northampton County School Systems and graduated from Weldon High School in 1976. Later
received her CNA Certificate from Halifax Community College. Lois was employed with Halifax Convalescent Center until her health failed.
Lois was a simple, uncomplicated lady who's greatest pleasure was derived from family gathering, vacationing at the beach and excursions out of town. These memories will be greatly inbreded in our memories.
She was a member of True Way Church of God in Christ Jesus.
Those who preceded her in death are: her father; Cleven Harrell, Sr., her sister; Shirley Parks and a brother-in-law; James Holt.
Survivors left to cherish her memories are: her mother; Rosa Dailey-Harrell of Garysburg, NC., one daughter; Deatrice Harrell of the home, her grandsons; Jaquan, Robert and Talik all of the home, three sisters; Sally and husband Bernard Hicks of Skippers, Va., Cleo Clark of Garysburg, NC and Tressie Holts of Roanoke Rapids, NC.; one brother; Cleven Jr. Harrell and wife Patricia of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews other relatives, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM, True Way Church of God in Christ Jesus, Weldon, NC. Elder Leon Clark, Pastor and Bishop Ralph Daily will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in Chapel Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Garysburg, NC.
There will be a private immediate family viewing Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 12:30 PM at the funeral parlor. A public viewing will follow from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
