Levitus Andra "Lee Lee or Smoke" Mason, son of Bettie Mason (Ralph Scott) and the late Wyatt Mason Jr.

Levitus life began March 19, 1993, at Halifax Regional Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, NC. He received his education from Northampton County Public Schools. During his life's journey he made many names for himself like Smoke, Bear, etc. Levitus made many friends and was known to be a very loyal friend and touched the hearts of many.

Levitus explored several employment opportunities, he served as a custodian at Squire Elementary School, he worked in Maintenance at Sadler's Truck Stop, lawn care with Cherry Tree Alliances, and was on the production line at Perdue. He loved to fish, listen to music, hang with friends, and cooking. Levitus would always greet you with a smile and open arms. He would say "come in sit down and lets chill" or "Lets ride out somewhere."

He leaves to cherish his memories are His Mother: Bettie Mason (Ralph Scott) of the home; Siblings: Wyetta Mason (Tip) of Garysburg, NC, Wyatt Mason III of Garysburg, NC, Angela Avent of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Sheila Hart (Marion) of LaCrosse, VA, Jeffrey Scott of Gaston, NC, and Roderick Scott of Gaston, NC; Nieces: Diamond Scott, Janae Mason, Jaliyah Sledge, Zanaya Sledge, Shamaya Sledge, Malacious Drumgoole, Alyshia Williams, Jamerah Mason, Ayanna Scott, all of Gaston, NC, Nephews: Shamion Nelson, Saiquan Avent, and Latavious Mason of Gaston, Dexter Avent of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Jeffrey Scott, Jr. Gaston, NC, Terrance Avent of Philadelphia, PA, and Albert Mason, Jr. of LaCrosse, VA, Aunts: Norma Green (Donald) of Valentine, VA and Linda Avent of Henrico, NC, Uncles: Robert Avent of Valentines, VA, Clyde Avent of Rocky Mount, NC, David Avent (Joan) of Emporia, VA, Johnnie Avent (Jean) of Broadnax, VA, Randy Scott and Buck Scott of Gaston, NC; Cousins that he considered as Uncles and Aunts: Sally Cook, Vivian Spruill, Dorothy Jenkins, Ralph James, Larry James, and Glen James, His god-mother: Lisa Mason (Larry) of Gaston, NC, godchildren: Kendall and Kendrick Mason; Bridgette Mason considered as a sister and Bryan Evans as a brother and a host of cousins and friends.

Levitus was preceded in death by His Father: Wyatt Mason, Jr., Fraternal Grandparents: Lucy and Wyatt Mason, Sr., Maternal Grandmother: Frances Roberts, His Aunt: Annie Maud Mason, His cherished cousins: Chavis Avent-Gary and Desmond "DC" Roberts.

Levitus had many friends, too many to name but his very special friends are: Jamel (Cash), Mike (Henny), Rakell (Kel), Jaylen (Jay), Tae, Chris, Tink, Fred, Kendell, and James.

The life of "LeeLee" came to an end on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence in Garysburg (the Gaston area), NC.
