The Life of Mr. Lawrence Lee,79

Trustee Lawrence C. Lee, son of the late Patrick and Fannie Garner Lee, was born June 5, 1933 in Northampton County, NC. He departed his earthly life on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

His formal education was obtained through the Public Schools of Northampton County.

At an early age he confessed Christ as his personal Savior and joined Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

Later in life Lawrence moved to Brooklyn, NY, whre he spent most of his adult life. After retiring, Lawrence returned home and reuited with his church family where he served as a Trustee and Usher until his health began to fail. Lawrence loved his duties.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his wife: Ethel Lee of the home; one daughter: Gwendolyn H. Lee of New York, NY, one son: Lawrence E. Lee of Brooklyn, NY; Five Grandchildren: Latasha, Mary, Andrea, Shawn and Lawrence, Jr. all of New York; Three Great-Grandchildren: two Sisters-In-Law: Esther Lee of Garysburg, NC and Helen Lee of Richmond, VA, a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lee will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Gaston, NC. Bishop Wayne I. Welch, Pastor will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Garysburg, NC.

There will be a private immediate family viewing Saturay, March 9, 2013 at 12:30 pm at the funeral parlor and a public viewing will be from 1 to 7 pm.
