The Life of Mr. Kenny Louis Shearin, 60

Mr. Kenny Louis Shearin, 60, was born October 28, 1955 in Halifax County, North Carolina to Lillian Buffaloe-Shearin and the late James Lee Shearin, Sr. Kenny was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the home of his beloved sister, Denise Vauters in Richmond, Virginia.

Kenny attended the public school system in Northampton County, North Carolina, where he grew up as a child and played and had fun. Kenny loved to paint and was a lover of Cadillac cars.

Kenny was preceded in death by a Brother: Derrick "Pluck" Shearin and a Brother-in-Law Dennis Vauters.

Kenny leaves to cherish his fond memories: Two Sons: James Gilliam of Garysburg, NC and Latimore Banks of Rocky Mount, NC; Three Daughters: Sierra Grimes of Richmond, VA., Kimvetter Simms of New Jersey and Jasmine Smith. Kenny also leaves his loving and devoted Mother: Mrs. Lillian Buffaloe-Shearin of Richmond, VA., Four Sisters: Brenda Hooker, Denise Vauters, Sandra Shearin and Yolanda McCoy and husband Kevin all of Richmond, VA; Five Brothers: James L. Shearin, Jr. and his wife Felicia of Garysburg, NC, Ernest J. Shearin and wife Susan and Wydell D. Shearin all of Richmond, VA, Jerome Shearin and wife Sandra of Boykins, Virginia, and Troy M. Shearin of Hopewell, Virginia; a devoted fiance Brenda Brown and many, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins and devoted friends.

A private viewing for the immediately family will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. Public viewing will begin at 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Mr. Kenny L. Shearin will be Friday, July 8, 2016 at 1:00 In The Afternoon at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. George German Eulogist. Interment will follow immediately in Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Seaboard, NC.
