The Life of Miss Kandis Kay McBride-Jones, 19
Death closes one door and opens another...on Monday, March 21, 2016 in Rocky Mount, NC that door was open for KANDIS K. MCBRIDE-JONES, 19 of Littleton, NC. Kandis Kay McBride-Jones was born March 6,1997 to Cindy K. Jones in Newark, Jersey. She later moved to Littleton, North Carolina.
Kandis attended Halifax County Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 2015 from Northwest-Halifax High School. After graduation, she decided to attend North Carolina Wesleyan College, Rocky Mount, NC. She was a member of the Freshman Class.
Her goal was to become a Pediatrician. At the House of the Battling Bishops of Wesleyan College, Kandis was greatly appreciated and well-known for her spiritual kindness and loving heart.
She was a member of the Famous Cafeteria Crew with her friends: Dee, Robyne, and Quedeshia. Kandis loved to sing and music was her passion. While attending NCWC, she decided to join the Voices of Triumph Choir. She also enjoyed Writing.
Her brother, Steven was the most important person in her life. Kandis will be greatly missed by all.
Kandis has a few love ones that has preceded her in death: Her maternal Grandparents: Dolphus and Elsie Jones; Her Uncle: Dolphus Erven Jones, Cousin: Cornesha Knight and a special cousin she called Aunt Niecy.
Those left to forever cherish the precious memories of her life are: Her Mother: Cindy K. Jones-the Love of her life; Her Brother: Steven Jones of the home. Kandis has Five Aunts: Annie Ward and husband Robert of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Cezette Jones of Wyoming, Delaware, Cynthia Mitchell, Judy Jones and Samantha Jones all of New Jersey; Seven Uncles: Phillip Jones and wife Marie of Panama, Edward Jones, James Jones and wife Beverly, Keith Jones and wife Tammy all of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Ronnie Jones of Orlando FL, Allen Jones of Durham, NC and Joel Jones and wife Ashley of Charlotte, NC. If you know the Jones Family, she has several great aunts and uncles, a multitude of cousins and other relatives. A great Aunt that was special to her heart, Betty Lee Fleming. When God called his angel Kandis home, He also called the rest of the cafeteria crew with her: Dee, Robyne and Quedeshia.
There will be a private viewing for immediate family only, Friday, March 25, 2016-12:30 PM at the funeral parlor. A public viewing will be from 1 to 6 PM.
