The Life of Mr. James Lee Brown, 66

James Lee Brown was born on July 26, 1948 to the late James Henry Brown and Janet Mae Roberts Brown in Seaboard, North Carolina and answered the Master's call on January 17, 2015 at Enfield Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Enfield, North Carolina.

James received his education through the Public Schools of Northampton County, North Carolina.

James confessed his Faith in Christ at an early age and joined Zion Hill Baptist Church in Seaboard, North Carolina. Upon relocating to Washington, DC, James attended Fellowship Freedom Baptist Church in NW Washington, DC and Union Temple Baptist Church SE, Washington, DC.

James worked several jobs including The Market Inn, Big 8 Construction, as a bricklayer's helper and Goodwill.

James was never married and had no children, but was loved by many.

James was preceded in death by his great niece, Trenise Allen.

Treasured memories of his life will forever remain with his Two Sisters: Minister Mae Allen and husband William of Gaston, NC and Lessie Brown of Dacula, GA; Four Nieces: Evangelist Gwendolyn Isaac of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Angela Payne and husband Carl of Dumfries, VA, La'Shawn Allen of Largo, MD and Sa'landria McMorris and husband Troy of Dacula, GA; Five Great Nieces: Kye'Ana Oliver of Clinton, MD, Ja'La McCree of Largo, MD, Janet Roberson of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Kiara Brown and Khaya Smith of Dacula, GA; Also Four Great Nephews: Ulysses and Delonte'Isaac of Roanoke Rapids, NC, James Allen of Dumfries, VA, and Curtis Smith of Dacula, GA, A Special Cousin: Joe Louis Edwards, and Best Friends: Zollie Rawls, Landon"Tick" James, Jr and Chife George Reed. James also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services for MR. JAMES LEE BROWN, 66, who expired Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Enfield Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Enfield, NC will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Missionary Church, Seaboard, NC, with Rev. Timothy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Missionary  Baptist Church in Margarettsville, NC.

Mr. Brown will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Floral Attendants and Pall Bearers will be selected at the church.

There will be an immediate Family viewing Friday, January 23, 2015 at 12:30 In The Afternoon at the funeral parlor.  A public viewing will be from 1 to 6 PM.  The Family will meet at the funeral parlor Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
