The Life of Irene Perry

The immediate family will have a private viewing Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 12:30 PM at the funeral parlor, followed by a public viewing from 1 to 6 PM.

Funeral will be Thursday, March 14, 2019, 12:00 O'Clock High Noon, New Jerusalem Holiness Church, Garysburg, NC

Burial will be in Morning Star Mission Church Cemetery, Gumberry, NC.

Irene Perry, 72 of Gaston, NC, the daughter of the late Mark Perry, Sr. and the late Gertrude Taylor-Perry was born December  14, 1946 in Northampton County, NC.

She joined St. Marks Holiness Church, Roanoke Rapids, NC under the leadership of the late Bishop D.L. Manning and Mother Marie Manning. She enjoyed going to church and praising the Lord. One of her favorite passtimes was sitting on her front porch.

Peacefully, she departed her life on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Life Care, Rocky Mount, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  Her Children--Herbert Perry, Jr. and wife Doretha and Jimmy Perry all of Gaston, NC; Six Grandchildren:  Angelica Robinson, Dinecha Williams, Jimmy Williams, Jr., Ja'Quan Robinson all of Gaston, NC, Shaquita Wiliams of Pleasant Hill, NC and Keeno Robinson of Greenville, NC; Seven Great-Grandchildren: Dinasia, NeVaeh, Asaulye, Xzaqevion, Kaiden, Shamarj and Dvavzae; Two Brothers:  Mark Perry, Jr. and wife Cynthia of New York and James Lee Perry of Gaston, NC and a Brother-In-Law:  Ernest Lee Powell of Gaston, NC, many nieces, nephews, cousins, church friends and friends.

Irene is now joined with her siblings: Rose E. Powell, Queen Perry and Haywood Perry.
