The Life of Mr. Gregory Lysander Boone, 54

A private viewing for immediate family ONLY will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:30 pm at the funeral parlor, followed by a public viewing for 3 to 6 PM.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 26, 2022, 12:00 O'Clock High Noon, Faithful Band Missionary Baptist Church, Cornwallis Road, Pleasant Hill. NC, Pastor Gregory Evans will be the eulogist. Burial in the church cemetery.

GREGORY LYSANDER BOONE, 54 of Northampton County,
North Carolina passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at ECU
Hospice House, Greenville, NC.

Gregory was born October 21, 1968 in Halifax County, NC. He
attended Northampton County Public Schools and was a member of
Roanoke Chapel Missionary Baptist Church as a child. Early in adult
life he began to work as Halifax Memorial Hospital in the Maintenance
Department. Gregory continued his career in maintenance as he worked
at other locations also in maintenance.

Gregory was preceded in death by two brothers, James Nelson
Boone and Joseph Boone.

He leaves to cherish his memory a wife: Edith
Boone of Garysburg, NC; one daughter: Brittany Boone of Roanoke
Rapids, NC; and son: Tevin Pierce of Garysburg, NC; four
grandchildren; his mother: Ms. Annie Belle Boone of Jackson, NC; two
sisters: Dora Mae Brown of Pleasant Hill, NC and Linda Boone of
Roanoke Rapids, NC; three brothers: Matt Boone of Roanoke Rapids,
NC, Issac Boone of Jackson, NC and Rev. Willie Mack Greene of Garysburg, NC; an aunt: Norma Vaughan of
Portsmouth, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and special
friends.
