His cremains will rest in New Mexico after the Memorial Service.
GREG BENNY CADENA formerly of Clovis, New Mexico, departed this world and earned his wings on Friday, April 2 nd , 2021 in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Greg was born February 11 th , 1981 in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. He was raised in Clovis, New Mexico where he attended Curry County Public Schools. He moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in June of 1990 with his mother and his siblings. He took passion in the auto body industry and went on to become an Auto body and Paint Technician. Greg loved to fish, coach his children in sports, swimming, listening to music and boy did he love to joke and make others laugh. Greg was a friend to all no matter what walk of life you came from. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was loved by many and knew no stranger. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had a smile that was contagious and was the most kind hearted, thoughtful and loving son, father, brother, Uncle and friend to all. Most importantly he didn't give up on his Faith in the Lord. Greg loved his children and family whole heartedly. Greg you will be missed forever and will never be forgotten. We love you always and until we meet again, rest in peace.
Greg is survived by his three children: Josiah, Makayla and Dominic Cadena. His mother: Christine Rawles and Step Father 'Pops' Collins Rawles of Weldon, NC, His father: Greg Cadena. His Sisters: Sarah Cadena of Weldon, NC, Stephanie Trujillo of Clovis, New Mexico, His Brother: Eric Lopez of Richmond, VA, and His Sister: Bryanna Carroll and husband Darryl of Roanoke Rapids, NC. His Step-Siblings: Terry West of Saginaw, MI, Collins Lamar Rawles and wife Helen of San Antonio, TX, Sabina Rawles-Villarreal and husband Thad of Stafford, VA, Teon Rawles of Knightsdale, NC, Tabitha Hitson of Raeford, NC and Candace Smith of Fort Belvoir, VA; He leaves His memories to be cherished by his nieces and nephews: Jayden, Jaylyn, and Gianna Tarufelli of Weldon, NC; Francisco, Elena, Annalisa, Anthony and Rene of Clovis, NM; Xavier Lopez of Halifax, NC and Cameron and Amelia Carroll of Roanoke Rapids, NC. He also leaves behind His Fraternal Uncles: Toby, Tudy and wife Debbie and Mario Cadena all of California. Fraternal Aunts: Alice and husband Danny of California, Cherie of Texas. Maternal Uncles: Jake and wife Gloria, Manuel and Wilson and wife Carrol, Maternal Aunts: Sophia of Kansas, Dorothy, Fatima, Kathy, Rebecca of Clovis, NM and Diana of Albuquerque, NM and a host of relatives and friends.
Those gone before him are Maternal Grandparents Gregoria and Celina Lopez; Fraternal Grandparents Benny V. and Viola Cadena. Maternal Uncles: Lupe, Gregory Jr., Raymond and Martin. Fraternal Aunty Michelle.
