The Life of GLADYS PRICE GRAY, 71
Gladys Price Gray, widow of the late Willie Lee Gray, Sr. and daughter of the late Wiley Price and Macie Squire Price, began her journey with life on October 9, 1945 in Northampton County, North Carolina.
Gladys obtained her formal education through the public schools of Northampton County.
At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and joined Gaston Baptist Church, Gaston, North Carolina.
"Half-Pint" as she was affectionately and fondly called was well known throughout her community. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She always had a kind word of encouragement to give and could bring laughter into any situation.
Peacefully, she went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Gaston, North Carolina.
Treasured memories will remain with her devoted children: Willie Gray of Gaston, NC, James Gray and wife Annette of Seaboard, NC, Roscoe Gray and wife Jennifer of Gaston, NC, Delores Parker of Gaston, NC and Tammy Mills and husband Roneil of Wake Forest, NC; Siblings: Wallace Price and wife Connie (deceased) of Richmond, VA, Odell Johnson of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Edward Jr. Price and wife Gladys (deceased) of Pleasant Hill, NC, Mary Snow and husband John of Gaston, NC, Ray Price of Gaston, NC, Sherman Price of Richmond, VA, Terry Price of Gaston, NC, Dennis Price of Rocky Mount, NC, Dora Price of Richmond, VA, Amos Price and wife Sandra of Gaston, NC and Minnie Price of Roanoke Rapids, NC. Survivors also include Fourteen wonderful Grandchildren, Eleven Great-Grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Gladys is now joined with her father: Wiley Price, her mother Macie Price, brother Allen Blake and sister Susie Price....May you all have a blessed reunion!!
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017, 12:00 O'Clock High Noon, Gaston Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy 46, Gaston, NC, Evangelist Alice J. Brown will deliver the eulogy.
