The Life of Mr. Jack Mason, 86

Mr. George Washington "Jack" Mason, 86, expired Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Elliott & Ruby Brooks-Mason, born February 29, 1928 in Northampton County, NC.

His education was received from the public schools of Northampton County, NC.

Very early in life he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined Bethlehem Baptist Church, Seaboard, NC.

He is preceded in death by a Brother: Horace Mason and a two Sisters: Mary Alice Mason and Thelma Berry; and a Stepson: Larry Taylor.

He lives today and forever in the lives of his very special friend: Nettie Taylor of the home; His Six Children: Jackie Taylor of Roanoke Rapids, NC, George Taylor and Raymond Taylor both of the home, George Ford of MD, Lillie Mae and Delores Mason both of Newark, NJ; Two Step Children: Mary Ann and Doris Taylor both of the home; Two Sisters: Lucy Mae Garris and Hazel Garris both of Weldon, NC; A Brother-In-Law: Cleveland Robinson of Weldon, NC; One Sister-In-Law: Mary Mason of Rich Square, NC; Twenty-two Grandchildren; Eight Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins, friends and church family.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Seaboard, NC. Rev. Purnell Edwards, the Pastor will deliver the Eulogy and burial will follow in the Phillip Family Cemetery, Seaboard, NC.

There will be a viewing for the immediate family only on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 12:30 In The Afternoon at the funeral parlor. A public viewing will follow from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.

Floral Attendants will be: Jamie Mason, Tomika Mason, Jackie Mason and Shaquetta Bennett.

Pall Bearers will be: William Garris, Jr., Damian McDaniel, Wali Tyson, Devonte Gary, Ramon Peterson and Larry Coats.
