The Life of Mr. Gary "Joe" Joseph Youngblood, 28

The death angel was called to beckon the burdens of Gary Joseph Youngblood, 28 formerly of Boaz, AL, but a local native of Roanoke Rapids, NC on March 21, 2017 in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Joe was born in Jefferson County, AL to Carol Jones and the late Gary Wayne Youngblood.

He was a good person, with a big heart that never met a stranger. He was the type of person that you could never stay mad with him. Joking was a fun trait for him, he had a joke to tell or would do something to make you smile. He was a hard worker, and when he wasn't working he enjoyed being around family and being outdoors exploring new things.

He was formerly employed with Roof R Us in Roanoke Rapids.

He leaves to cherish is fond memories: His Mother & Stepfather: Carol Edwards Jones & English (Monte) Jones (deceased) of Boaz, AL; His Father: Gary Wayne Youngblood, Boaz, AL; Two Brothers: Tony Wayne Youndblood, Albertville, AL and David Charles Whisenant of Boaz, AL; A Nephew: Rylan Youngblood and one Niece: Talissa Youngblood; His Maternal Grandmother: Joyce Patricia Edwards of Boaz, AL; His Uncles: Guy Edwards, Kenneth Edwards, David C. Youngblood, L. Garry Jones, Tony E. Youngblood and Tracy L. Youngblood; His Aunts: Donna Parker, Gwen Beard, Cynthia Higgins, Becky Kilgore, Tonya Battles and Teresa Oswalt; a host of cousins and relatives in AL and some of His close knited friends in the Roanoke Rapids, NC area: Leeann Bryant & Family and Kim Wallace & Family.

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017, 12:00 O'Clock High Noon, Coleman Funeral Home Chapel.
