Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, 12:00 O'Clock High Noon, Zoar Missionary Baptist Church, Pendleton, North Carolina. Sr. Pastor, Apostle, Dr. Dorothy E. Ruffin delivering the eulogy.
E. Marie Carter departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Pendleton, North Carolina.
She was born July 5, 1951 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Hinton and Bernice O. Carter. Preceded her in death is her brother: Charles L. Carter.
E. Marie received her education in New Castle County Public School System of Wilmington, Delaware.
Marie, "Rie Rie' as she was affectionately called. Retired from General Motors Auto Plant, Newport, Delaware, with 30-years of service in 2003.
She attended church of The First Born & Spirit Life Church over 20-years, where she served in various ministries.
In 2012, she relocated to Pendleton, North Carolina and became a member of The Holy Prayer Room Church, Inc., Rich Square, North Carolina for 7-years and was a faithful prayer warrior.
One of Marie's favorite lines was: "I thank you for it Lord".

Carter of Wilmington, DE; Eight Grandchildren: Shante' and Shane Carter both of Wilmington, DE, Shannon Cartr of Florida, Shawn Griffin of Florida, Kiterra Harris of Wilmington, DE, Onneya Carter of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Kyle & Korrin Carter both of Wilmington, DE, A god-daughter: Gurie Snow of GA; Four Sisters: Joan and Carolyn Carter both of Wilmington, DE, Patience & Victoria Ponzo both of Wilmington, DE; Three Aunts: Two Uncles, and a hot of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and cousins, her sisters in Christ: Renee Clayton, Dorothy Calhoun, Sis. Charlotte all of Wilmington, DE.
