The Life of Mr. Donald Wayne Byrum, 52

The call was made for MR. DONALD WAYNE BYRUM, 52, of Bryant Town Road, Rich Square, NC on Monday, May 1, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late Roy Sr. & Bobbie Jones Byrum, born February 4, 1965 in Ahoskie, NC.

Donald was a loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. He was a carpenter until he became disabled.

Donald's passions were deer hunting, working on and riding his motorcycle, race cars and go cart racing. His favorite passion was his garden. He worked his garden every year and always enjoyed listening to the radio, camping and campfires. Cooking on the grill was a love of his and visiting his family.

Donald loved his dog Angel. He taught his baby sister, Lisa how to look for fishing worms, ride a bike and climb trees. He was Lisa's protector. He would walk her home from school almost everyday. If Lisa needed something or someone was messing with her, all she had to do was call Donald and he would be there day or night.

He kept birds in a cage and Lisa released them and lied...Donald knew but never said nothing.

Those left to cherish Donald's memories are: Two Brothers: Eddie Byrum and wife Wendy of Ahoskie, NC and Roger Byrum and wife Kay of Conway, NC; Two Sisters: Laurie Ann Vaughan and Alisa Bland and husband Brian all of Woodland, NC; Two Children he loved and raised as his own: Amber Lee Kramer and husband Richard and son: Robert Lee Pavey and wife Kim; Three loving grandchildren that he loved dearly, His Girl Friend: Betty Jo Abrem of the home, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews he loved dearly, cousins and friends.

The Family will be receiving family and friends at the home of his brother: Roy Byrum, 4806 US Hwy 35, Conway, NC.
