The Life of Daily Rogers, 71

Daisy Rogers, 71 the daughter of the late Catherine Burgwyn was born May 8, 1939 in Jackson, NC. She received her education from the Northampton County Public School System.

she departed this earthly life in Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, NC on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at ten minutes after 5 O'Clock in the afternoon.

Daisy was employed as a seamtress for many years and know for her tasteful cakes and pies.

Early in life she joined Antioch Baptist Church, Jackson, NC. Met and married the late Glenn Boone and is preceded in death by her only son: Moses Burgwyn.

Later in her adult life she mover her membership and joined Miracle Tabernacle Church, Weldon, NC.

Daisy leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of the home: Mr. Joseph Rogers; Fourteen Granchildren; Two Sisters: Annie Epps and husband Joe of Jackson, NC and Hattie Kewkirk of Washington, DC; Four Step-children Glenn Boone, Jr and wife Debbie, James Boone and wife Teresa, Shirley Boone and Joanne Sgoggins and husband Kimboy; A God Daughter: Mary Bradley of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Five Sisters-In-Law, nieces, nephews and other relatives, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Miracle Tabernacle of Deliverance Church, Weldon, NC with Apostle E. L. Ricks Officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson, NC.
