Mr. Cleveland Junious Broadie, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend
Cleveland Junious. Broadie, 75, of Gaston, North Carolina, went to meet his Lord and Savior Thursday morning, March 22, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Born August 1, 1942, in Gaston, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Junious P. Broadie and Eula Mae Davis.
Broadie served his country in United States Navy honorably for three years, a Nurse Technician at Gracie Square Hospital in New York City for more than 30 years. He received his High School Diploma through the equivalency program of New York State. Broadie enjoyed investing in the New York Stock market, fishing from various N.Y peers and deep-sea fishing on occasion. He loved animals, specifically aquatic-fish and dogs. He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time and buying peculiar gadgets was his passion. When Broadie bought a home in Gaston, NC, he then turned gardner, where he planted collard greens, cabbage, tomatoes, grapes, and even had a fenced-in chicken coop full of chickens in the backyard.
" Broadie" is survived by his loving wife of 55 years: Ms. Juanita Broadie; Eight Children: Larry of South Carolina, William of North Carolina, Kevin of North Carolina, Denise of Virginia, Cleveland Jr. of Virginia, Dee of Virginia, Marc of Florida, and Jamal of Georgia; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grand-children; His brother: Leroy Broadie; A Sister: Deloris Davis; One Aunt: Hattie Tucker; nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, other relatives and a multitude of friends from North Carolina to New York City; Special Friend: His High School Buddy; Therm of Gaston, North Carolina.
