The Life of Mr. Cleophus Wilkins,73

There will be a viewing at 12:30 at the funeral parlor for the wife, children and grandchildren ONLY on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the funeral parlor.

Gravesides Services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 12:00 High Noon, Shearin's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Rev. John Barham will deliver the words of comfort, followed by the burial.

Cleophus, son of the late Louis & Naomi Scott-Wilkins, begin his life's journey on September 22 1947 in Halifax County, North Carolina. He is preceded in death  by his son: Larone Dalvex Jones, one brother:  Clentis Wilkins, four sisters:  Ola Handsome, Dorothy Williams, Dalla Stansberry and Mattie Simmons.

Cleophus received his formal education through Halifax County School System. He retried from The United States Capital, Washington, DC and was a Dallas Cowboy fan to his heart.

Peacefully, t he angel of the Lord was dispatched to his home in Roanoke Rapids, NC, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 to take Mr. Cleophus Wilkins, 73 to the path of glory, there with his wife by his side.

His fond memories lives on in His wife: Evelyn Wilkins of the home; His Children's mother: Bardara the mother of His daughter: Sharesa Wilkins; His son: Cornelius Wilkins; Four Grandsons:  Davin, Khori, Travin and Tysin; One Great Grand child:  Harmony; Three sisters: Myra Rosser of Fort Washington, MD, Lula Faulcon of Virginia Beach, VA and Mary Wilkins of Bowie, MD; a Broth-In-Law: Grady Williams, Sr.;  Brother and Sister-In-Law:  Ernest & Joyce Fleming; many, many nieces and nephews and friends.
