A private viewing will be held Friday, March 15, 2019, 12:30 PM at the funeral parlor, followed by a public viewing from 1 to 6 PM.
Funeral will be Saturday, March 16, 2019, 2:00 PM, Roanoke Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Jackson, NC

Clenton Vick, the son of the late Pauline Davis and Collin Bryant was born on October 12, 1933 in Northampton County, NC. Clenton was raised by the late Harriet and Lonnie Vick.
He received his formal education through the public schools of Northampton County, NC.
Clenton moved from Northampton County in the early 1950's to Baltimore, MD, where he worked as a chef. In the late 1950's, he moved to New York City where he began working with Coco-Cola Bottling Co. and retired from the company in the early 1990s. He moved from Brooklyn, NY to Weldon, NC in 1997, where he worked at Clary Lumber Yard and later at Halifax Community College in 2010.
Clenton married his true love, the late Daisy Peebles on May 15, 1963. They were married for 45 years. God blessed their union with one daughter and three sons.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.
Peacefully, he departed this world on Friday, March 8, 2019 at his home.
Clenton was preceded in death by by grandparents: Silas Peter Davis and Mary Opal Davis; Brothers: Eugene Bryant, Collin Bryant, Jr., Leon Bryant, Jessie Wilkins and Robert Wilkins; Sisters: Barbara Bryant, Lucille Bryant, Luzelle Bryant Coleman, Jean Vick, Deci Vick, and Helen Watson; Uncles: Raymond and Walter Davis, and Aunts: Rose Cooper, Mary Alice Baley, Mary Magdeline Davis, Kathleen Davis, Minnie Blue and Deloise Davis.
Clenton leaves to mourn four children: Pamela of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Anthony of Garysburg, Clenton, Jr. of Weldon, NC and Eric and wife Rebecca of Wilkesboro, NC: Eleven Grandchildren: Mahagony, Teshami, Tyker, Aveeyon, Michael, Che'lontae, Zareck, Nye'Jei, Kayla, Keymora, and Anitra' Two Step-Grandchildren: Amanda and Tony; Three Great-Grandchildren: Kaziah, Kha'mya and Kamryn; Three Step-Great-grandchildren: Leiland, Elijah and Neveah. Survivors also include: Four Brothers: Clevi Pittman, Winzalow Bryant, Larry Vick, Lonnie Vick, Jr. and wife Carrie, ; Eight Sisters: Flora Jean Johnson, Deloris Vane and husband Paul, Lorraine Dickens an Elbert, Carol Coleman, Hattie Mae Davis, Phyllis Perry and husband Dr. Wendell, Edna Dukes and husband John, and Culey Mae Kilimanjaro and husband Steve; aunts, uncles nieces, nephews. Special Cousins: Essie May Davis Milbourne and Annie Titus and special nieces and nephews: Racquel, Rodney , Omari and Ashley and a host of other relatives and friends.
