Claude Bennie Harrison was born August 18,1951 in Halifax County, North Carolina to the late Bennie Claude Sr. and Ella Dorothy Bunn-Harrison. Claude was the oldest of the Bennie and Suke's children. He
attended Halifax County Schools and was part of the graduating class of 1969 from Eastman High S
chool.
At an early age, he was baptized at Smith Chapel Baptist Church, Halifax, NC.
Claude joined the United States Army and served 12 years as an air plane mechanic. He was very smart, handy and spent most of his life working as a mechanic, carpenter, and construction worker.
In 1970 Claude was united in Holy Matrimony Linda Forth. God blessed this union with two beautiful children in Chapel Hill NC, where they made their home.
Claude will always be remembered for his love of life and his sense of humor. He was a man who always spoke his mind and told it, like it was.
