The Life of Christine Perry, 78

It was on the morning of Wednesday, November 16, 2016 around 11:09 AM, that the angel of death came to the residence of CHRISTINE PERRY, 78 of Roanoke Rapids, NC and whispered "Peace Be Thine".

Christine Perry was born to the late Elmo & Elizabeth Bolden Betts in Gransville County, North Carolina on February 2, 1938.

She was raised in North Carolina until she moved to Jersey City, New Jersey, were she met and married the late James Perry. Out of this Holy Matrimony the late James Perry, Jr. was born. Debbie Perry, Sharon Perry, Curtis Perry, Corey Perry all preceded her in death.

Being a wonderful seamstress and a great homemaker were her trademarks for many years.

Christine leaves to cherish her fond memories, One Son: Erik Perry, Passiac, NJ; One Grand Daughter: Ebony Perry of Roanoke Rapids, NC and her children: Sharon Perry, Daraziah Perry, Jamia Butler, Jaivon Butler and Kris'Sean Butler; Sixteen other Grandchildren; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; One Brother: Edward Betts of Jersey City, New Jersey and a host of other relatives, cousins and friends.

A private immediate family Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 26, 2016,12:00 High Noon, Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert Jones, Officiating.
