The Life of Cezette Denise Turner, 60

Cezette departed this earthly life about 7:40 am, Saturday, May 3, 2025 in her residence on Henry Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Cezette was born on May 18th, 1964 to the late Bernard and Gernell Debro Turner in Halifax County, Halifax, NC.

Cezette was a member of the Evangelistic Church of Deliverance under the leadership of the late Bishop William H. Cheek, Sr. and Mother Lucille Cheek, where she used to sing with the United Voices.

Cezette was a graduate of Weldon High School, Weldon, NC. She later studied from Penn Foster College, Scottsdale, AZ. She worked in the health care field as a CNA, did cosmetology work, loved doing hair and makeup, traveling, cooking, and decorating for all seasons. She would go on the yearly "Sisters Trips" with her god-mom and her family members whether it would be in Philadelphia, Virginia, South Carolina, Flordia or Georgia.

Cezette was United in Holy Matrimony to Andrew Hendricks of Enfield, NC and that marriage ended in a divorce. Later, she met and married Clyde William of Halifax, NC, also ending in divorce.

Cezette leaves to carry on her legacy, Her children: Ashley Hendricks, Jamal, and Krista Hendricks all of the home; grandchildren: Anecia, Avery, and Adrian Hendricks and Kameron Edwards of the home; Her siblings: Michael Turner and wife Beulah of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Darryl Turner of South Carolina, Dennis Turner and wife Paula of Halifax, NC, Rickey Turner and wife Patricia of Augusta, GA, Glenn Nelson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Aunts: Phyllis Jordan of Washington, DC, Paulette Jordan of Sharpsburg, NC, Patrina Jordan of Roanoke Rapids, NC , Brenda Williams and Husband Thomas of Garysburg, NC and Gail Silver and Husband Ray Silver of Enfield, NC several Uncles of Philadelphia, PA; god-mother: Evangelist Evelyn McGee of Cary, NC;  a very Dear and Loving Friend: Priscilla Lee Squire of Roanoke Rapids, NC; god-daughters: Stacey Lee of Allenhurst, GA, and Jasmine Bradley of Roanoke Rapids, NC; god-sisters, Randi Jordan of Hinesville, GA, and Tonya McGee of Charlotte, NC; god-brothers: Diyosha McGee of Philadelphia, PA, Jim Jordan of Clayton, NC, and Brian Jordan of Bangkok, Thailand; and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
