The Life of Miss Belinda Beckett, 45
Miss Belinda Kaye Beckett was born in Montclair, New Jersey on November 13th, 1968 to Richard and Katherine Beckett. Belinda entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
She attended public schools in Montclair and Piscataway, New Jersey. While in high school, she modeled/walked in fashion shows, participated in several school activities and sang in the Concert Choir. Belinda graduated from Piscataway High School in June 1986.
Her favorite activities were listening to music, singing, dancing, facebook, writing poetry and taking pictures (of herself-smile).
Belinda loved spending time with her parents, her little sister, and her Chihauhua/Daughter "Dollbaby". She also enjoyed spending time with her extended family and friends. Belinda attended church throughout her life. She was saved, blessed, sanctified and loved God. She was a very loving spirit, with a heart of gold and was loved by many.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents: Deacon Richard A. and Apostle Katherine L. Beckett of the home; one sister: Vanessa L. Beckett and friend Clifton Edmonds of Garysburg, NC; her Chihauhua/Daughter: "Dollbaby" of Garysburg, NC; Six Aunts: Mariah Simpton of Allenton, PA, Carrie Rose of South Carolina, Ann McKenzie, Catherine Beckett, Linda Beckett and Thelma Brown and husband Jeff all of New Jersey; One Uncle: Sania Owens of Allenton, PA; and a host of other relatives, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014, 1:00 In The Afternoon, Community Church of Christ #2, Hwy 48 S., Roanoke Rapids, NC. Elder Christopher Mallory will deliver the Eulogy. Elder Tyrone Squire is Pastor.
A private immediate family viewing will be Tuesday, October 14th at 12:30 In The Afternoon at the funeral parlor, followed by a public viewing from 1-6 PM.
Floral Attendants will be: Angie Beckett, Kelly McKenzie, Cathy Whitmore and Kashawn Bailey. Pall Bearers will be: Patrick Beckett, Donnie Beckett, Jeff Beckett, Donnell Beckett, Charlie Rose and Junior McKenzie.
