The Life of Mrs. Audrey M. Wesley Rawles, 55

Audrey M Wesley-Rawles was born on March 26, 1959 to the parents of the late Edward Douglas Wesley and Evelyn Henry Wesley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters: Celeste Wesley and Angela Adams.

Audrey grew up in Farmville, VA and attended Prince Edward County Public Schools for Elementary and Middle School. She graduated from Springam High School in Washington, DC. At an early age, she was baptized and joined Triumph Baptist Church in Darlington Heights, VA. In later years, she attended Miracle Temple Apostolic Church in Capital Heights, MD.

Audrey was a very fun-loving, friendly and family-oriented person. She embraced her family and In-Laws. She had a passion for home decorating and design. She held several jobs in the Washington DC/Maryland area; most long term at the Law Firm of Baker & McKenzie.

Those left to cherish her memories are: Her Husband: Bishop Alphill C. Rawles; Her Children: Alphill C. Rawles, Jr. and Terrell J. Rawles; Her Sisters: Wanda Wesley-Major, Elaine White, Lenora Wesley and Cindy Wesley; Her Brother: Edward Wesley, Jr.; Her Father-In-Law: Zollia Rawles, Sr., Her Sisters-In-Law: Arlean R. Morris and husband Richard, Sheila R. Morris and husband Johny and Ella L. Rawles; Her Brothers-In-Law: David Adams, Zollia Rawles, Jr., David Rawles and wife Pam, Collins Rawles and wife Christine, Carson Rawles and wife Johnnie, Louis Rawles and wife Joyce, James Rawles and wife Sandra, Carl Rawles and wife Stephna, Ronald Rawles and wife Rocky, Melvin Rawles and wife Sylvia and William Sweatt; a host of many, many nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Audrey M. Wesley Rawles, 55 of SW Washington, DC who expired on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in her residence, will be held: Saturday, January 3, 2015, 1:00 In The Afternoon at New Jerusalem Holiness Church AFCOGG, Hwy 186, Garysburg, NC. Bishop Curtis Ransom will officiate, where Bishop Geanie Perry is Host Pastor. Minister Betty Mae Parker-Kee will serve as the Organist.

Floral Attendants will be: Gwendolyn Morris, Tamara Morris, Laronda Rawles, Gloria Gatling, Tameyka Morris and Myka Morris.

Pall Bearers will be: Michael Morris, Johny M. Morris, Carson Rawles, Jr, Richard Morris, Jr., Darren Rawles and Darius Rawles.

Mrs. Rawles remains will repose in church one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Seaboard, NC.

There will be a private immediate family viewing at the funeral parlor Friday, January 2, 2015 at 12:30 PM, followed by a public viewing from 1 to 6 PM.

The funeral cortege will leave from 2930 Tower Rd, Margarettsville, NC at 12:00 High Noon in route to the church for the funeral on Saturday.
