The Life of Mother Annie B. Williams, 95

A precious Mother has been taken from us to receive her just reward, Mother Annie B. Williams, 95.

Mother Annie Brite Rawles Williams, daughter of the late William & Lucy Rawles, was born August 11th 1917 in Northampton County, NC.

She received her education in the Northampton County School System.

Mother Williams joined Roanoke Chapel Baptist Church, Jackson, NC at a very early age.

She was baptized by Rev. Sherman Pittman and played the piano for Sunday School for the church choir until she relocated to New Jersey. There she joined Friendly Baptist Church and later relocated to New York City, where she joined the Rev. Shambach of Miracle Temple Church, Brooklyn, NY.

She later adventured to NC to finalize her state of living and became a member of Evangelistic Church of Deliverance under the leadership of Elder William H. Cheek, Sr.(now Bishop Cheek). She was the founder of the Pastor's Aide Auxillary.

She was married to the late Robert Williams and 13-Children were born to this union; children that preceded her in death are: James, Robert, Julia, Richard, Bert, Donald and Cornelius.

Those left to cherish her fond memories of love are: Lorriane Vuonanno, Naples, Italy, Lucy Williams, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Gloria Williams, Yonkers, NY, Bernis Williams, Queens, NY, Dywatt Williams, Brooklyn, NY, and Rhonda Williams, Brooklyn, NY; 17-Grandchildren; 10-Great Grandchildren; 12-Great-Great Grandchildren; only one sister: Mrs. Lucille Hardy, Jackson, NC
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 12:00 High Noon at Evangelistic Church of Deliverance, Sycamore St., Weldon, NC.

Bishop William H. Cheek, Sr., The Presiding Prelate will be officiating.

There will be a private immediate family viewing Friday, Aug. 31st at 12:30 pm. The public viewing will be from 1 to 7 pm in the chapel.
