The Life of Mr. Almore Thomas Brown, 61
Almore Brown, son of the late Fannie Francis Johnson and James Collin Brown was born on October 22, 1952 in Halifax County, North Carolina and departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
He attended John Armstrong Chaloner School and later completed his education at Halifax Community College. He joined the United States Army Reserve for seven years before moving to New York.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Elmore Brown, Bruce Baker, Collin Brown, Ray Johnson and one sister, Lillian Daniels.
Those left to cherish his memories are: His wife, Loretta Scott Brown of New York; His children: Crystal Brown and Joseph Brown both of New York; Three sisters: Virginia Martin and husband Matthew of Jacksonville, NC, Katie Trice and husband Joe of Weldon, NC, and Connie Richardson of Greensboro, NC.
Also two brothers James Baker and Larry Brown, both of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Two sisters-in-law:Gloria Brown of Weldon, NC and Evangelist Dorothy Baker and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

, 61 of 105 Southgate, Roanoke Rapids, NC, who died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Halifax Regional Center, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina: will be held 1:00 In The Afternoon, Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, 776 Hwy 301 N., Garysburg, NC.
Rev. Robert Newell will Officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Littleton, NC.
There will be an immediate Family viewing Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the funeral parlor at 12:30 In The Afternoon. A public viewing will be from 1 to 6 PM.
