Obituary

The Beautiful Life and Legacy of a Wonderful Lady:  Alfreda Ruffin Davis, 53

A private viewing for immedicate family only will be held Wednesday, August  22, 2018 at 12:30 PM, followed by a public viewing from  1 to 6 PM at the funeral parlor.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 23, 2018, 1:00 O'Clock, Evangelistic Church of Deliverance-Chapel, 2nd Street, Weldon, NC

Rev. Elbert Clark will deliver the eulogy

Burial will be held in the Dailey Memorial Gardens, Gumberry, NC

Alfreda Ann Ruffin, daughter of Julia Bryant Ruffin and the late Alexander Ruffin, Sr. was born on September 30, 1964 in Halifax, County.

Alfreda received her education from Weldon City Schools, graduating with the Class of 1982.

She received Jesus Christ at an early age at Lebanon baptist Church in Darlington, NC and as time passed, she moved her membership to Evangelistic Church of Deliverance in Weldon, NC.  She was a faithful member until she became ill.

Alfreda held various employment positions including Health Care Provider, Security Guard and Crossing Guard.  She was well known for helping others, her beautiful smile, and the "kisses on her truck."  She would give you her last and she had so much love for people.

Peacefully, she departed her life on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in her home.

Those left to cherish and remember her gracious memories are:  Her husband: Ruffers Davis of the home; Three sons:  Marvin Scott, Jr. of Jackson, NC, Mortez Scottt and Marj Scott of the home; Five Stepchildren, Four Step-Grandchildren; also Her Mother: Julia Ruffin of Halifax, NC; Four Brothers:  Arnold Lee Ruffin of Halifax, NC, Tyrone Parker, Tony Lee Person and James Earl Person all of Weldon, NC.  Survivors also include: Her Grandmother: Rosa Rufffin-Boone, Mother-in-Law: Mrs. Odelia Davis; Four Sisters-in-Law: Christine Tabron, Elizabeth Hawkins, Elizabeth Davis and Willie M. Davis; Two Brothers-in-Law: Percy and wife Levonia Davis and Lynn Davis;  Shaneca Ruffin "A special niece" and a host of caring aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

In addition to her father, Alfreda is now rejoined with her oldest brother Alexander (Junnie) Ruffin ....may you all rest in peace a have a blessed reunion.
